Our Commitment to Your Vision


At CATARACT MD, we stand behind your distance vision results. We have confidence in our surgeons and in the stability of our patient's results over the long-term. We call it our Vision Commitment Program, and it is offered to all patients who undergo surgery. CATARACT MD will cover the cost of any laser fine tuning or touch up of the result to attain a prescription of 1 diopter or less, which is normally the minimum visual acuteness required to drive without contact lenses. The CATARACT MD vision commitment is offered to all patients that undergo intraocular correction at our facility and is included in the cost of surgery.

Criteria for Re-treatment Eligibility
Patients must complete the course of post-operative treatment and exams as outlined in the Surgical Information Package to maintain coverage. Failure to complete required exams within the outlined time frames may result in charges for post-operative visits. Continued eligibility is dependent on yearly routine eye exams at our clinic, at an affiliated doctor, or your eye care professional. Maintaining proof of these exams is the responsibility of the patient. If proper yearly routine eye exams were not performed, then the cost of re-treatment would be the current full surgery cost.
